Doula Sara
Hello, my name is Sara and I'm the owner of Wonderfully Made Doula Services. I'm a RI Board Certified Perinatal doula, serving the Providence Rhode Island area since December of 2022. I'm passionate about helping expectant Moms feel confident, informed, and prepared for the birth of their baby. My role is to ease your transition through pregnancy, into parenthood. Raising my own children has been the greatest joy & blessing of my life. When I'm not supporting Moms in the delivery room, I'm home-schooling five lovely daughters with my husband of 13 years.

Doula Heather
Hello :) I’m a pro-life Christian, wife, and mom…and now blessed to be a Granny, as well! I can’t imagine going through this life apart from Him. I’m also a birth and postpartum doula certified by DONA and RI state-certified by the RICB. I serve moms and families in eastern Connecticut and in most of Rhode Island.
As a mother of nine, I've had a variety of pregnancy and birth experiences, including loss and weeks in the NICU, but my sweetest memories are of those times when I felt heard and supported - and like what I was doing was truly important. Every mom should feel this way, and every family should have the support they need.
Whether it's for your labor and birth or in the weeks beyond, I'd be honored to come alongside you as you navigate this amazing path into motherhood!

In 2016, I began my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at The University of Texas at Austin, on a pre-medicine track to become an OBGYN. I quickly realized that this dream of mine would consume my twenties and likely postpone starting a family. A shift from pre-medicine to public health allowed me to pursue my passion of maternal health without potentially sacrificing my biggest dream in life: becoming a mom. Fast forward seven years to now and I have completed my Master of Public Health (MPH), have a job in the public health field which I love, but desire a more active role in improving maternal health outcomes. I began researching doula training opportunities and found Doula Trainings International (DTI), an organization that emphasizes autonomy, cultural humility, evidence-based research, and collaborative entrepreneurship, all things that I stand for as a public health practitioner and now a doula. I believe that birth is a sacred, God-designed experience, and I feel honored to walk alongside families during such a transformative time. My faith deeply informs the way I serve—offering compassion, prayerful support, and a calming presence rooted in love and grace.

Doula Alexandra

My name is Alejandra Mayorga, I am a Rhode Island native and was raised in a Guatemalan, Roman Catholic family. My Christian faith continues to be a vital part of my identity and day to day life. Currently I am happily married and a mother to beautiful girl and a sweet baby boy. I have had the experience of an emergency C-section with my first child, following with a VBAC (Vaginal Birth after cesarean) for my second birth. Motherhood and birth are truly a God given gift that He has created us women with. He has given us an inherent ability to nourish life sometimes through our own children and other times through people he puts in our path. I respect and honor life from conception until death. My hope is to support women in their journey through pregnancy and motherhood.

Hi! I’m Amy McPhee and I highly value the importance of family. My faith in Jesus has been my rock throughout my life. It has been such an honor to raise two children who are thriving. I am a trained PPD through CAPPA and currently working on Rhode Island certification. My experience includes a daycare I ran for 10 years and have been teaching yoga for 21 years. Postnatal yoga is a practice consisting of low intensity, stretches, breathing practices and meditation. It is not a religion like some people think, it has science based evidence for physical and emotional healing. It includes gentle core and pelvic floor engagement. I really enjoy sharing this practice with others. I am a Johnson & Wales culinary graduate and enjoy creating nutritious delicious meals. My work with disabled adults for 30 years has enabled me to develop deep empathy and to be present. My husband and I have been married for 36 years. We live near a state forest. I have a sunny disposition most days, and I’m very grateful to be able to blend all my talents and use them to serve others.
